Sage's Weekly Dish - AMC

ImageDishin on AMC!!

I guess an endorsement never gets better than this.  Brian Frons (Prez of ABC Daytime) swears that he got a phone call from AMC's creator, Agnes Nixon, saying, "Thank you for Chuck Pratt."  (Chuck Pratt is the new Head Writer of AMC).

October 23, baybees!!  That's when our super delicious favorite doctor, Dr. David Hayward, will be swinging back into town just one week after the big tornado is scheduled to crash into the Gulf of Contracts, leaving Pine Valley in a rubble of recurring statuses and pink slips!  Brian Frons calls the tornado "a GH kind of event."

Nix the idea of the tornado being the death scene for our beloved Myrtle Fargate.  AMC says that is not the case.

Melissa Claire Egan loves playing Annie's dark side and says that she has heard no word of an exit for her often loathed character.  In fact, she tells Soap Opera Weekly that she fully embraces the idea of a pairing with the returning Dr. Hayward should the writers decide to give it a green light.  She says,  “That would be juicy. I worked with him a couple of times when I started and he was so awesome. That would be fun, a little Bonnie and Clyde causing trouble in Pine Valley. We shall see.”   This week, Annie begins to miscarry while trying to shoot Greenlee and the process continues on through a fight with Ryan.  After they learn the baby is gone, Annie confesses all to Ryan...except the parts about killing Richie and trying to kill Greenlee.  That doesn't quite make it in there.

Cameron Mathison was funny when he was talking about the scene where Ryan shows up at the Chandler mansion to bitch about Annie taking out a restraining order on him.  Even though Ryan was not the cause of the bruises on Annie's arms, Mathison laughs that the way Ryan is carrying on and behaving at the mansion, he should have a restraining order against him.

In a big "whoops" moment, Kendall thinks Annie is faking her miscarriage and bitches her out while the real thing is actually occurring.  That's some insult to injury right there!
